Yeah, and Kirk never said "Beam me up, Scotty". On two episodes he said "Scotty, beam us up".

Yeah, and Kirk never said "Beam me up, Scotty". On two episodes he said "Scotty, beam us up".I am fond of "Scotty, beam my ass up!" I remember reading a short story using that phrase on a restroom wall in a rest area on the New Jersey Turnpike.

Hello.

The Feds refer to the local cop who wants to be in charge as the "Badger". ;)
In such an event the local police act like everything is a secret, simply ask the secret service for the operations plan, it is not a secret, every vendor of everything from beer to toilet paper has a copy.
Somehow that freaks the local cops out.
And, all the ops plan tells one is what to expect, how to conduct oneself, in essence a guide to making the event flow smoothly, if it was in any way sensitive they would not give it to you.
Getting an event clearance takes you to the next level and the easy way to get there is to volunteer.
Want a firearms clearance? be known for trick shooting and black powder arts, any good at all and you will be asked to the event.
Be a security guard or peace officer.
Other options are also available.
The whole point of firearms clearance is that at that point you are no longer questioned, free to do what is needed.
