Find a seller confessing to a questionable activity with his/her ham radio and post a link.

Blow it out your ass, I thought it would be a bit of fun on a rainy shitty day.
How about this one (http://cgi.ebay.com/ICOM-2200H-65-Watt-VHF-Mobile-Two-Way-Radio-NEW_W0QQitemZ370387827868QQcategoryZ163856QQcmdZVi ewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m8QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DMW%26it s%3DC%26itu%3DUCC%26otn%3D5%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D79 23095945762822698#ht_4573wt_1141)? Not exactly a confession, rather a rip-off since I bought the exact same radio for $140 about 18 months ago. Then again, I didn't get a $40 mag mount antenna with mine...

Hell, I should start buying them from HRO fro $159 and selling them on ebay for $200 without the antenna. It never fails to amaze me that someone will buy something on ebay, for more than they can buy the exact same thing from a place like HRO, AES, MFJ etc new and under warranty for.
Let me see how many Connexes, Rangers, Galaxies and other "10M Export" radios I can find on eBay with their frequency counters displaying 26 or 27.xxx ...
Do a search for "SSB" in Electronics. I didn't even make it halfway down the first page before finding this:

Comes complete with 10M. How...thoughtful.

And distorted on the sidebands, but the AM is good. Lovely.

Maybe the diode can still be resoldered.

Nah--too expensive and, from what I hear, kind of hard to use most of the features. It's a good basic 2m FM rig for hitting the local repeaters, though.

The blue casing and knobs are way too much. Reminds me of the half-ass "mods" high schoolers do to their Acuras, etc.

Yeah, me too. When I was in the market for an MFJ-259 antenna analyzer, I checked out eBay and saw used units typically going for $200-225. When I went to Gigaparts, I found I could buy a brand new one for $219. Guess where I bought mine.

Gigaparts? Just a guess.

I got a 269 from DX Engineering at Dayton last year for not much more than that.
