Not gonna pick out any one individual, but there do seem to be individuals who just LOVE to play devil's advocate (that term might be on the too charitable side) and seem to have a need to contradict anything regardless of how much twisted logic and/or obfuscating verbiage it takes. Antisemitism is a nasty thing (Along with most other "antis" there are). I know I would shit can the first instance I saw of it sprouting, and ask questions/sort it out later; if I was running a board trying to carry any modicum of respectability.
In that case, it's better to shoot first, and ask questions later when bigotry raises it's head; IMO.

A bigot is a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices, especially one exhibiting intolerance, and animosity toward those of differing beliefs. The predominant usage in modern English refers to persons hostile to those of differing race, ethnicity, nationality, inter-regional prejudice, gender and sexual orientation, homelessness, various medical disorders particularly behavioral disorders and addictive disorders and religion or spirituality. Forms of bigotry may have a related ideology or world views.
Your first word was Antisemitism. This is the key word in this discussion. It has nothing to do with bigotry in general. Bigotry in general is what Bill is pointing out due to the fact that bigotry includes inter-regional prejudice. And at least one mod here has made reference to sexual preferences of men of Bill's area of the country.
This gets old very quickly for me. I know, as I can see here that there are a quite a few who do like to maintain their own bigoted remarks and scoff at those who look to quell their existence.
At no other time do we scream "bigotry" when the argument turns to subjects like federal spending. But when the topic is shelling out billions to maintain apartheid in the ME, then the "Antisemitism" word gets bantered about every single time.
Like I said. It gets old real fast.

Antisemitism is bigotry. Plain and simple. And my only point is, in the case of bigotry rearing it's head, my personal policy (As far as forum administration) is to shoot first (Though perm/temp ban) and ask questions later about it.

The two are not mutually exclusive. In fact, one enhances the other.
Or, so I've heard. Not that I have any first hand experience, you understand.

try to remember in politics there few truths to be found. :)
There is truth to be found in politics? I always thought that ALL politicians were pretty much just full of shit.
A very few may have started out honest enough, BUT after that first taste of "Power"....

I am humbled by your observation :)
I would be away from my PC right now but this is my day for research and writing for work, yes homework things need to get done sometime or other. Tomorrow, however, is another day and that might require some sort of hike or some such thing. We will see what the weather is then and decide at that time.

Mexarab.
One of the pharmaceutical companies will prolly try to trademark it, tho.
;)
If it is made in a Mexican lab will there still be a need for a cheaper generic alternative?
I'm still waiting for them to get approval for the generic version of Viagra (Mycoxafloppin)

There you go that probably says it best but I have suggestions. If this place pisses you off than it is probably time for a break. It is nearly spring go for a hike, run or walk. Get some fresh air smelling flatulence, yours an others, can really bring you down.
We all like to win an argument but do try to remember in politics there few truths to be found. Try to consider am I really right or do I just want to win. In this case likely it mean a political or philosophical argument. In the end we all do better by not investing in silliness of ego especially concerning matters that we little influence over, all we have is an opinion and like A-holes we all have one.
Oh just in case anyone might be thinking I consider myself high minded and superior let tell you that I don't believe that to be the case. I like anyone else am subject to the same condition, the human condition... :)
I used the warm air yesterday to work on cars with my son. It was gratifying and a way to learn more about the ones we love.
I consider you to be a very good friend Alan. No smart assed remarks from me to anyone trying to make this world a better place.
