1. Gilbert Gottfried has always been tasteless. Frankly (where is Frank these days?) I never cared for him or his act.
2. Considering that AFLAC does 75% of their business in Japan, it's no wonder they canned his sorry ass.

3. He isn't the voice of the duck in Japan, only in the US.

Damn. I hope this doesn't mean that they're going to kill all of the existing spots, but will simply dub over the duck's voice. I'd sure hate to see the Yogi Berra spot disappear.
