Man, the JA and VK stations are jammin' into the Left Coast S-9 this morning! South America, too--worked LU7HEO out of Argentina. Seems like I always get my best DX action on the nights I can't sleep.

Digital? Amazing what you can do with PSK and a shitty antenna. Not saying yours is shitty, just saying.

Yeah, PSK31, running about 40 watts out. And my antenna is shitty, but it's what I'm stuck with for the moment. It's gotten me QSOs over more than half the planet running no more than 100 watts even in our until-recently-crappy propagation conditions, though.

I keep saying it, you dont need to be Kilowatt Kyle to work DX. I have about 225 now, most confirmed, with nothing more than wire, and for a long time it was an indoor wire. With power ranging from 5-100w only. Your ear, patience and determination will net you lots of goodies you never thought you would ever see in your log book.

I no longer doubt that if i can hear them, i can work them with the above mentioned set up. Can be done!

As my 11 hours of effort for this 48 hour contest demonstrates. Three hours last night (after work), and about 8 hours today. 119 total Qs and 115 multipliers = 40,710. Could have done a lot more, but I was doing S&P and I tried not to work a country more than once on any band.
