I'm giving the "OL" the obligatory cards and chocolates ....I know I'll never hear the end of it if I don't!!!! :slap:

Edit to Add: KWW must be a scream when Valentine's day comes rolling around!!

I'm actually about to bake her a chocolate cake with balls of Toll House chocolate chip cookie dough in the mix.
It will either rock or suck so keep you fingers crossed.

Can we pick which side we are keeping our fingers crossed for? Rock or Suck?

I discovered that putting tumbled quarts pebbles in the freezer works as good as ice.

Take your cake slabs (or what ever you call them), do not put the cookie dough in them to bake. After the slabs are cooked, cut them horizontally, roll the cookie dough out flat. Place it in between the two halves, of one layer. Serve the cake cold. Maybe put a very thin coat of peanut butter between the halves too (on the chilled cookie dough).

That sounds like a great idea except that I've been trying to discourage the eating of raw cookie dough because it's not Halal.

You have it wrong. Halal is only used in the event of computer fires.

I think I can combat fire in the event of computers with I Can't Believe It's Not Butter.

Made a NH Oven-stuffer Lemon-Pepper Chicken Dinner with Taters and White Corn. Also got her favorite drink and she really enjoyed it.

My ex once asked for some home office furniture. She was upset with me when I got it... I was supposed to know that she didn't mean what she said, even though when I asked her at the time, she meant what she said.

In return, that year, she got me a new desk for my birthday, to prove a point. Which her computer went on. Come to think of it, she kept that desk when we divorced. Some present, hmmm?

Went out to dinner yesterday (she was off from work) and a card, candy, and some flowers. All I got was the bills for all that ;)
