It doesn't promise too much for any search for intelligent life here on earth, does it?

I'll take my geek-girl over any other any day. She doesn't get lost when I start explaining stuff to her. Not very often anyway.

Yep. One of them was the brunette with glasses working on the network cables. A little chunky maybe, but I like 'em with a little meat on them. ;)

What is a "geek" in todays world. In the my days the term "geek" meant something different than what it seems to mean today. I take it today it implies a person heavily into computer technology.

Not necessarily technology. Tabletop gaming, computers, audiophiles, etc. Maybe the term "nerd" would be more apropos.

And, I admit, perhaps "nerd" would be a better choice, since wifey and I both share many of the following qualities:

Nerd is a term that refers to a person who avidly pursues intellectual activities, technical or scientific endeavors, esoteric knowledge, or other obscure interests, rather than engaging in more social or conventional activities. It often carries a derogatory connotation or stereotype. The nerd may be awkward, shy and unattractive.[1] Therefore, a nerd is often excluded from physical activity and considered a loner by peers, or will tend to associate with like-minded people. - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nerd

Okay but in general it has to do with some form of technology. You generallly don't find intelligent women who may be expert in Literature, Music, History, Arts, etc referred to as geeks.

In the old days a "geek" was generally a freak or someone who was spaced out all the time and acted real spacey and "out of it". In earlier times it generally referred to a carnival freak of the worst kind. :)

I think it's become more encompassing than previous. "Literary geek" is a term I here bandied about now and then.

Give me girl next door any day. Besides, like they say, no matter how hot she is, somewhere there is a man who's tired of her crap.

Share your bed, not your shack. Stay away from wimmin with ham licenses.
You don't want them helping you pick out your next rig, do you?

Of course in today's world the term "chicken head" has a whole different meaning and you hope to God nothing gets bitten off.

I've never found the sight of ribs on a woman to be attractive. Give me a fluffy chick any day.

Oh shit at 1:15 in the video. Scenery at 2:35 is good too. I was disappointed that only two girls in that video would really be able to fuse my hydrogen.

And a little chunk on a woman goes a long way with me. :yum:
