Hello.

There have been hundreds of movies about aliens landing.
First, this was in the year 1967.
My first question is this.
Why does this guy concern himself so much with it?
Second question, why not take his partner to the site and leave the police behind, pick up a camera on the way.
Finally, cold war era, the last place to go to is the police, the military, perhaps, but I would want to try and find out more before I said anything to anyone.

Yes, and that is my point.
Like I am going to the cops with some story about a giant glowing inverted funnel at some deserted diner?
First, private property would be the first thing the cop would say.
And, to argue with a cop? and in a police station? the cops would be doing the Rodney King all over my butt!
After that I would be drug tested, and assured of a positive, after they plant a pound of "evidence" IN my butt.
A have no idea where that dude was from but this is Texas, you don't do that type of chit around here.
