just loaded AdBlock for chrome and WOW! surfing got a whole lot faster. now the question is, has anyone tried any of the other extensions for chrome and how do they work? i run older computers and dont want to overload them too much....

I run the equivalent of NoScript, which I think they call "NotScript". I also run a Flash block utility and a Better Privacy equivalent that cleans Flash LSOs upon browser exit. Chrome may have added that as a default privacy setting.

Chrome's Javascript engine is just blazing fast and crazy pedantic. It's the first thing I use when I develop Ajax sites. Somehow, doing it that way helps with the IE compatibility issues.
