I'll have the tramplifier activated and should be able to work you folks without a problem...but IIRC, a bunch of locals use that frequency.

Jim ('3N) might develop allergies if forced to tune his rig above 3800. Just sayin'.

Mississippi usually has some kinda New Year's Eve activity on 3862 , the usual statewide net freq . Depending on your location , and weather here , that may or may not impact your choices . If things aren't too busy at the EOC , I'll try to catch up to y'all .

Jim will not be anywhere near a radio at that time. Jim will be here (http://www.meltingpot.com/location.aspx?q=16) for at least 2 hours, starting around 8PM EST.

LOL! OK.
We have one near here. It is a place where chicks drag their men to make them more metropolitan. Like when a woman makes her man see a chick flick with her. Then there are the Hen parties.
Of course, your region may vary.

Fondue? I thought that went out circa 1965 or so.

When we found out dinner would cost a benjamin, we decided to decamp for cheaper grub. Nice place, though.

We thought about going to our local fight-your-way-in, fight-your-way-out wing joint/sports bar for dinner but I want nothing to do with the crowds OR the roads tonight.

Jim:

You're doing it wrong. She should be feeding you grapes.

It is a damn fight. One wing place was so crowded one night near Christmas that I felt like a pinball.

 Must be a "Southern" thing. I don't have those "issues". I actually like the place.

Like when a woman makes her man see a chick flick with her.

She doesn't even attempt to take me to a "chick flick". She knows better. ;)

Oh, I've seen those at this place. She and I just look at each other and chuckle when we see, or hear them.

Alive and well here. You need reservations for the place because it's that popular.

It's not a place most people can afford to go to on a regular basis. This will be only our 2nd trip this year.
