Anyone been on 6m recently. It's been open a lot, especially considering it's the winter Es season.

Time to fire up the 6m beam, then. Good timing, seeing how I just lost of HF antenna for at least a couple of days.

Got wind? It's been blowing 40+ mph all day and it's expected to go another day and a half.

Yeah, 40-50 MPH gusts and heavy rain. At least I got my roof leaks repaired between the storms, though.

5 Element beam, 110 watts, not much open here, some faint EU contacts, nothing to boast about...

I have a vertically polarized FM antenna at 45 feet - monitor 52.525 (simplex) when I'm around.

Next year or the year after comes the 6M antenna...

You got an attic? (somewhat easy to access?)

I'm using 3 elements @ 35ft. for six meters and check into regional net about three mornings a week.
Haven't really seen much in the way of band openings lately. Always hopeful, I like 6m.

I guess it depends where you live, which is standard for Es. Many times I've been sitting on the sidelines while guys on the east coast were working the Caribbean. C'est la guerre.

Yes. No.
