No machine can ever replace Charles.

[ Only referring to bartending, of course... ]

I've seen those mechanical bartenders. They choke when it comes to putting the umbrellas in the glass.

...and when you tip a machine they usually fall over.

Depends on how big the tip is.

I wonder if it would work with real beer.

Hello.

The first time I saw that I was so totally amazed!
The cups a just a bit more expensive and the machine does spill beer.
Another machine fills from the top and also gets the level right, except you simply set a cup in a hole and a beer (or soda) filled cup comes out the other.
In the case of the superbowl and other massive events they have already placed all the cups on a tray and this gets placed in a frame.
The beer is dispensed by a row of nozzles on a rack.
A person simply moves the arm and pushes a button that gets it started.
The person selling beer is provided with a rack and one tray.
As the beer is sold they go back and drop off the entire rack but take their totalizer/credit card box and get another fresh rack while 2 runners take the empty rack and a box that accepts the cash but can not be opened by the runner.
At $10 a beer and an average of a little over 400 beers sold per person this really is big business.

At $10 a beer and an average of a little over 400 beers sold per person this really is big ripoff and after 400 beers worse than drunk.

There, NOW it makes sense... or does it?

Hello.

You know you are drunk when you think that you can take anything build by any radio company and 2 diodes and dispense beer!

Right. Everyone knows you need the APU off a helicopter to make a beer dispenser work.

No wonder the thing wasn't working. I forgot the APU. Silly me........

Nah , that's for the jet-pack. And for a Motorola HT and a couple of 1n214s , I'll dispense beer for as long as it lasts .

Wow. And we though we were moving up to the big leagues over at the shop when we started discussing installing a kegerator .

I could see one of those things getting us into all sorts of trouble.

LOL Especially considering there have been a few nights when 3 of us are hanging out after hours on a weekend and end up destroying 2 cases of beer.

You know it's bad when you wake up laying on the bed of a LeBlond lathe after a night of partying.

Impressive. Most impressive.

But does it work with real beer, as opposed to Buhdvinyl?

Hello.

You are missing the point of all of this.
Look at it, it spews a cheap liquid that some pass for beer, spilling some with with each cup.
And, even the cheap plastic cup, the only thing it can dispense into, is an indicator of the quality of the final product.
No, you are not getting a quality product is what the thing is telling you every time a cup screeches into and out of the socket.
Cheap beer delivered by a mindless but good looking female who can shake her arse, quickly. ;)

Could be worse...you could have woken up curled up on a Bridgeport or inside a HAAS CNC
