This is unreal. When I key up my 2 meter FM handie talkie at any power level, from 1/2 a watt to 5 watts it completely clobbers my computer speakers. Unreal, if I were to key up my 100 - 500 watt HF equipment the speakers would probably detonate. No wonder this consumer junk generates so much rfi complaint.

Thank the friggin' FCC. CE certification from the EU is better.

West Mountain Radio has a solution...

Grab a ferrous toroid, and wrap the speaker leads around it. Lemme guess: Dell Speakers, right?

Oh, those Dell desktop speakers suck for that.

I added some toroids to my big Yamaha sub in the living room. 40 meters, any mode...

Check the speaker leads AND the power brick lead. Toroids definitely help.

If you have a sub-woofer, check that too.

Try another set of speakers. Some are more susceptible than others. If the other speakers don't suffer the indignity, use them and toss (or give away) the others.

Fuck yeah... The only speakers I have issues with (Other than my 15 year old TV front end) are those dastardly Dell Speakers that came with the computer... 2 meters and 20 meters really blow them away.
