Grandkids are cool, mine were here for X-mas today. The best part is that when you're done having fun with them, you can hand them back off to their parents!

Congratulations to the family and future grandparents...Grand kids can be great...You can give them back when they tire you out...I have 10 grand kids and 2 great grand children...They all live interstate so we don't get to see them all that much...However we always get plenty of phone calls, birthday cards and emails so that we can keep in touch....Bless em' .....:)

My first grandchild (and the only one to date) bounced into the scene 5 years ago. I've been enacting my revenge on the happy couple now for quite a while.

I also had news, this time from my youngest son, who still lives here, renting his room at his insistence. He proposed to his lady yesterday and gave her a very nice (and very expensive) ring, and also announced they have located a house they plan to buy. He did it right, waiting until he completed his apprenticeship in the electrical trade (Nov 29!), and until he had saved up enough to secure a home. Kid has a good head on his shoulders, not at all like his Dad ... :quiet:
