This state/county did something simlilar out here a few years back. It was a complete clusterfu*k. Toxic shit went out for miles, and the blast was huge. One of the comments by those expert agencies was "we had no idea it would be that bad". DUH

Correct, it was in the Rumpus Room for a while.
And, would it not be a pain if it turned out he had a fully functional nuclear bomb, and it went full tilt in the controlled explosion?
That wold all but end police bomb squads, in this case the entire police.
The homeowners who are/were renting the joint get nothing, not even insurance as this is not an accident.
