Hate to say it but Safari is IE 4 Apple. No apps, slower than molasses on a cold morning and, in my case, freezes at the very idea of moving pictures. You want to watch a vid? Whaddaya think this is? A PC??

I watch video using Safari all the time. It's true that Flash for Mac sucks, but blame that on Adobe, not Apple.

eh? im using ubuntu w/ firefox. tryed the "adblock" plugin before sadly some places i go it just really boggers up some things.

Firefox with AdBlock Plus and I don't see them.

So you're saying that if I get AdBlock it'll block the commercial that appears spliced onto the beginning of the video and skip forward to the start of the real video? I doubt it.

lol really? You watch a video. Before the video there's an video advertisement. Not really complicated, the television has been exhibiting that behavior for years.

So far, all I'm seeing is a CBS blurb at the end. Am I missing something? Seems fairly tame to me.

I watched about 4-5 clips (all news clips) and never saw a commercial, just the little blurb at the very end. :dunno:

Could it be that I'm not seeing these things because I don't have an account there and don't login to YouTube?
