We are in the midst of the ARRL 160 meter contest.

I'll be back in the fray tonight, starting about 0200 Z or so, depending on family.

Should any of you have the capability for the band, a contact would be appreciated.

Especially if you're in Alaska, Arizona, California, Montana, Nevada, or Utah (all heard last night, but none heard me. Dang it.)

[I know, but it's worth a shot]

Actually, it's against the rules to make a sked for a contact. I can ask you to keep your ears open for me, but that's all.

You could be like some contest stations with the nice streaming webcam video from the shack zoomed in on the frequency display of your rig.

And melt my antenna? I just got the damn wire back up!

Besides, I live in Pa... no west coast kilowatts here... or italian ones, for that matter...

Thanks!

Yes, but that would be cheating.

IMHO. Violation of the spirit if not the letter of the rules. Not that THAT stops some people, mind you... but that's another thread.

So who would know? And who would care?

I would know. That's enough.

I may not be perfect, but I'd like to think I have a few ethical fibers left.

Yeah. And I know that amongst a certain level of contesters, ethics are out the window as well. So I'll never be invited to a WRTC. Big deal.
