I like candles. It's why I own two menorahs. Except mine are always lit. I also like the matzo crackers :)

If any religion has their rituals down pat to the point of being beautiful, in and of themselves, it the Jews and the Catholics.

And, Happy Chanukkah to everyone here who follows that faith here :)

Permit me to gently correct you. Shanah Tovah is a greeting used at the Jewish New Year, RoshHashanah. It means "first of the year." Usually, the New Year greeting is "L'Shanah tovah tekusevu" which translates roughly into "May God inscribe you in his Book."

At Channuakah, Jews greet each other by saying, "Merry Christmas, bubby."
