Every once in a while, something really unique seems to happen. I prefer direct QSL (to the extent that I really do QSLs) and I have specified that no greenstamps or SAE is required.
This envelope was included with a QSL card I recently received from a ham in Germany (whose name I have deleted as a courtesy). I was tempted not to send it back! The stamps are amazing, and I hope the board lets them be seen clearly.

I got something like that from a ham that needed my gridsquare in a bed way. I really need to print new cards. The ones I have are my old callsign from pre 1996

US postage 1c? Yeah, I'd say they're old.

I can see it now................ World News.............
A German citizen struck it rich today when an American Ham radio operator sent him a card with very old and valuable stamps attached. The World WarII era stamps were made twice as valuable when they received a 2010 post mark. :lol: :lol:

The guy sent ME the envelope with the stamps pre-attached. That's what an SAE is, fellers. I would not have been more surprised had I found a goat turd in my refrigerator.

That being the case, UTs are standing by.

They still make 1 cent stamps.
But not like those.

He probably expects them back postmarked?
It's a test Albi. Screw up and you will vanish.

Man, some people will do anything for a QSL these days.
:lol::lol:;)

Not something that ever happens to me. NOBODY needs CA for his WAS and my grid square is densely populated with hams. Or populated with dense hams. Probably both.
