That is, auto band switching and tuning of amplifier and ATU.
An IC-751A showed up on my doorstep last evening.
It completes the '751/R71A/IC-2KL/AT-500 lineup which I have been contemplating.
Radio works FB - had all filters and the CI-V interface installed. (Color me shocked...)
The entire lineup works like a charm. I wish Kenwood had done something like this instead of staying faithfully married to their 3-500z design...and NO matching tuner, auto or otherwise.
To those of you who own the '751 along with matching peripherals and who wrote favorable reviews: I can now understand why. It's good stuff.
