A few minutes with a buffing wheel and it will be just fine.

Year One to the rescue. All it'll take is a pile of money.

Don't they sell repro body panels? Or do I have the wrong company?

Don't they sell repro body panels? Or do I have the wrong company? When the integrity of the body is compromised by rust, sometimes it's better to just move on.

Hello.

I always start with a somewhat nice body and frame, none of the above on that!
I do not look for a given style or body, make or model, I look at it from a cost to value point of view.
If it is some sort of collector car I forgo it as it is going to be too expensive and I am not into restoration.
But if a car with a blown engine presents itself I look carefully.
In Texas, due to the heat, blown engine vehicles with nice bodies are common.

No kidding.

Junk. Don't bother.

I'd tell the guy there are plenty of straight rust free Chevelles in the West that would cost less to retrieve than rebuilding that hunk of shit.

Yeah, you really have to be desperate to take that one on. I doubt it would even make a decent parts car.

Exactly. The right fender is crunched already, so who knows if there are any frame issues. Forget about the body parts, the rust is too severe.

Interior? Yeah, right. I bet that's all garbage. No chrome, no front grill. It probably doesn't run but I'll guess it has the big motor in it. That's the only reason I can see that this hunk of junk hasn't seen the crusher yet.
