And knowing this place, I plant this thread here for the Queen of Outlandish.

But honestly, a Happy Thanksgiving to All. Looks like another year is almost in the books and we are apparently going to cross the finish line skidding on our arses.

0422 EST, early? My usual morning log-in is just about this time of morning. I think it highlights the brain damage I suffer from living fast and loose in the 70's & 80's ...

Happy Thanksgiving!

I was planning to ride to and from the in-laws' today (300mi round trip) but no way in he!! am I gonna do this in the downpour which has currently set up between Columbus and the middle of PA. Looks like the area is going to get anywhere from 2-4" of rain between now and Friday afternoon and is under a flood watch.

Happy Turkey Day to you all...

There is always something to be grateful for, and I hope each of us will find it and be thankful for it today. Usually, it is good friends and a happy family. Each and every one of you restless, vagabond Islanders has my fondest wish for a happy day today; maybe today will be the day it all turns around and see a bit of bright on the horizon.

Thanksgiving was great here. Had a real old-fashioned family dinner with the better half's family. First time we met, great people.

It also was the first time that I didn't have to cook in decades. A bit of a long trip, but totally worth it.
