I've been wondering that myself. :lol: Truthfully, this is my favorite place on the internet to hang out. I've been or am a member of about two dozen message boards over the last 10 years and this is the only place I do any serious posting. Dumb as it sounds, debating on one particular (now defunct) message board and actually meeting people from that board in person was quite instrumental in getting me out of my formerly very sheltered, neoconservative, religious shell. I had always been taught that anyone who didn't think a certain way was evil and to not associate with them, ever. That board was a mix of people from all walks of life and I realized after meeting several people that moderates, liberals and non-Christians could actually be pretty nice people.

Well, if every day were like yesterday I would absolutely love it. I made more money in commission yesterday than I used to make in a day as a CE. Unfortunately that definitely doesn't happen every day. But I like being able to look nice and not getting all grubby and I definitely don't miss having to go out in the middle of a field in miserable weather. And the midnight (and 2AM, 3AM...) phone calls, the calls in the middle of dinner at a nice restaurant... Definitely am glad that stuff is past history. Really though, I think the best part is meeting people and being in control of my income to a large extent. I've also found that skirts really do sell more! :lol:

How I would feel if I worked for a big company in competition with a bunch of other people, I don't know. I work for a tiny company. My boss is the owner and there are two other employees besides me. I manage my own store and it's a brand-new location so things are picking up but it's nice not having to deal with other people's bullshit all day long. I'm in control of a lot of variables and my boss gives me a lot of leeway and as I've been outselling him lately, he has been taking my suggestions for improvements, which is a refreshing change from working at the Good Old Boys Club that was the Engineering Department. Actually, working for The Company That Shall Not Be Named was great until my new boss revealed himself as the misogynist dick that he was. Banging promotions girls and assigning Kelli all the work to do while The Boys sat on their asses was the name of the game. After I quit they actually had to work for a change. I'm sure that didn't go over too well. :roll:
