With Charles's new addition (the kitten), we need to help him out with a name. I put this in the Rumpus room as anything goes.

My choice is:

FAJITA (Charles knows what that means)

I wanna see a video of her playing and purring. That's important to the naming.

But being a calico, she's parti-colored.
Parti-colored is multi-colored.

Multi-colored... Multipass! Call her Leeloo Dallas... er... Leeloo Kittyass?

Aerial kind of led up to Amber I suppose. She was thinking Aerial too and Amber was softer and more mellow kitty-like.

Fucker.

To the delight of your neighbors, you can call for her out the back door:

"C'mere, little Fucker!" ...

When I was a youngster growing up, (uh oh here it comes) the neighbors across the street had a dog named Special. As the dog got a little older, at the end of the day, the neighbors 10 year old daughter would yell out loudly from their front door, "Special! COME!" to which my brother and I would laugh our asses off at every time.

How about Cacahuate? Spanish for Peanut.

My wife is looking hard at getting a Xoloitzcuintli (http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/xoloitzcuintle.htm) dog and I told her fine, but that if we did, we should name it Cacahuate. She was not receptive.

Amber's not bad; if you get bored you can always call her Bernstein (German for Amber).

If she ever takes off or gets lost or stolen, you can call for an honest to God no shit Amber Alert. The tones are already in place at the local stations.

Old boss of mine had a funny looking, very sweet, but hyper-crazy little mutt by the name of "Asshole".

One of those unfortunate mixed breeds that just ain't right in the looks department.
