During my search for updated UTE and Air freqs I ran across a very comprehensive list here: http://www.monitoringtimes.com/html/mttopHF.html As for the actual update time, I don't know but the freqs I checked out (about 20 or so) are active.

Nice list and I was wondering if we could put it somewhere where people could refer to it without a lot of effort searching all of IOMH.

Is that their 1996 list?

If so...horribly out of date.

(ETA: As an example, 7505.7 is home to a fairly powerful SWBC station and I can't see the Hurricane Contingency Net on 7507 competing with that.)

One thing we Islanders could do is to start our own 'intercept' list. Verify loggings/services as we go and keep the thing on the main page.

Thoughts?

Intercept subforum? With topic titles being RSS'd onto the homepage of hamisland?

A live Utility DX spotting list would be cool.

1996? I probably have an old issue from 1996 buried somewhere.

Just wondering... Does Radio Reference cover HF in their database?

Just curious... Seems like they might have the horsepower and expertise to pull it off.

What might be really (expensive) fun, is a website with remote receivers doing the wideband scanning thing from various locations. With a live waterfall display for segments of interest.

Like multiple Ten Tec RX-400 (http://www.tentec.com/index.php?id=22) units.

You're looking in the wrong place, RR has what you're looking for in Wiki/HF radio topics.

There are a lot of AFN frequencies listed that are no longer operational. All of the AFN voice traffic migrated to satellite years ago, only a few shortwave frequencies remain.
