.....it's always negative, or funny ha ha? The smokestack was the only thing remaining of the old coal burning electric plant. Apparently the demolition crew does not know how to blow things up. Their bid was the lowest, but all of those empty beer cans should have been a clue. I would demand a refund. I wanted to watch it, but they kept the event timing a secret because of the traffic it would draw. I am not the only person who loves to watch stuff blown up.

That was your town?

They just showed that video tonight on the CBS Evening News. Including the smokestack hitting (or appearing to hit) a small building and all the wires snapping.

Who was the demolition company? I want to make sure my firm isn't their insurance agent!

Our little town will have something to talk about for months now. The video that shows the wires, and the sounds of the cables whistling...creepy.

Here in Texas they will hire some bubba to be director of safety who is the hunting buddy of some boss.
Trouble is that he is somebody who speaks no Spanish.
