A friend of ours is in a local play, "Rehearsal for Murder."
I am obligated to see it tonight. What are good pre play libations to sit through the production?

Cyanide.

Would work for me.

Some sort of wine.

See below:

Wild Irish Rose?

That might make taking the cyanide neat a bit more appealing.

I've had the Gnarly Head and the Zig Zag Zin. Both good.
My instincts are telling me, something that will hold me over until I can get a beer. Sometimes my metabolism is ahead of the game. Last year, I had a good bit of Canadian whiskey before seeing TSO (gratis). After Carol of the Bells, I had to get up for a 24oz swill and swill lite.

I should add that I hate sitting through these things.

Cheap vodka. Nikolai is always good.

Captain Morgan. With a Thunderbird chaser. After-torture brew should be Peestone Light.

I figured as much, which is why I suggested the MD 20/20. Not only will it get you there quicker than the Zin, it comes in a bottle that will fit neatly into your pocket so you can take it with you and top off your drunk as required throughout the play.

Poke a hole in the cap and add:

Now that's entertainment.

Uh.... I wasn't paying attention to what you have to attend.... For that I can recommend....??? *&*(&^^....not much other than maybe a heroin or a strong laudanum... or perhaps better... just don't show up and say you were kidnapped by space aliens.

Does anyone know the story? A play within itself about the actors? The woman to my right was a knitter. The trip to the pub afterwards was much more entertaining. Science.

I like the sticky part.
When I rode the trains there were always those who would drink till they passed out. They never had money/food stamps cause they always got picked clean while blacked out.
