Excellent proof of Newtons Law of Motion... a body in motion stays in motion... in this case it set off a lot of other bodies in motion too. Must be spooky interaction. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Action_at_a_distance_(physics))

Where was that? PNW? Guess the truck driver saw the cop car and panicked since it looked like he was rolling along at a pretty good clip.

Those are some good wipers on that car.

Now I want everyone to take note of this. This here is a man who can see right through all the bullshit. He's right about those wipers.

Looked like Bill O'Really standing beside the Lincoln. Too bad. It was such a nice rail shot.

I'm holding out for a good set that scrapes ice. It gets damn expensive running the engine long enough to thaw the windshield.
I don't do the scraping thing, period.

Hello.

You can indeed buy wipers that do an excellent job on ice.
http://www.autocessories.com/products.htm
There are also heat strips that will warm the windshield, you can make your own for cheap.
Get some Square ceramic wirewound resistors of the value you want, one ohm works well for me, 2 in series held in place with bathtub goop to the bottom of the drivers side windshield will work, any more amps and you risk electrical issues.
There is also conductive window tint that will do very much the same job.
Factory heated windshields are available as an option.
Failing that there are places that sell the little plug in heaters designed for this application.

All the damned cop's fault.

Funny thing: Shortly after I made that remark about it never raining here, it started raining and has continued to rain more or less unabated for the last twelve hours. There's a lesson to be learned there, I'm sure.
