Sorry to hear that :( Those four-legged kids of ours seem to never hang around long enough with us.

R.I.P. Delilah Jones...
She had 12 good years with you Charles.
We have 3 cats and saw over the decades a few very good furry friends pass, it always hurts, and i remember everyone of them .
Take care.

My condolences, it's always hard to say goodbye to a friend no matter how many legs it might have had.

My condolences.

I still miss Toby the Brat (a ShiTzu) jumping up in my lap while I was sitting in the shack, trying to operate. Trying to send CW, write in the log, and rub his belly all at the same time was a challenge... he always wanted me to forget the radio and use both hands.

The shack is not complete without a four legged chairwarmer, is it?

Sorry to hear that, Trey.

Give yourself some time to grieve and eventually get another kitten. We lost The Loaf (avatar) in November after 16 years. We looked around a bit and got Chairman Mao (aka Ho Chi Minh Kitty) in July from some kids who were standing outside the supermarket with a box of kittens. He has been an absolute joy. He's sitting on my laptop right now like he always does during the day. I swear he's channeling The Loaf.

I wish the little fuzz butts would live longer, but it doesn't stop me from getting another one.

Very sorry to hear it. We lost one of ours back in July and the place still doesn't seem the same...even though the other two have attempted to pick up the slack.

Sorry for the news, Trey. Got one here who is now sixteen and shows no signs of slowing down. Been in this house 22 1/2 years, and there are three of them in the back yard under a crape myrtle.

Agree with Dave; get another kitten, and it'll make the passing a bit easier.

Thanks everyone.

We still have her brother Samson. It's going to kill me if he's running around looking for her tonight.
thanks again.:)

Trey, I hate to hear about anyone losing their 4-legged children. I lost 2 of mine in the same weekend. I opened up the Maker's Mark. The evening ended up being an Apocalypse Now! evening. I would recommend NOT doing that. Be patient, and your next furball will find you.

Sorry to hear that man.

My foot warmer, Popcorn is nearly 15. Trying not to think about how few years we have left together. It always hurts to say goodbye to a buddy.

I know what you mean and I gave Bridget extra special petting when she came up and laid her head on my ribs. I was thinking about this thread and Delilah.
I've thought about a lot of other cats too reading this thread.

Same here, Charles--I tracked down Frankie and gave her a bunch of extra attention today. She's still a relative youngster but, like Albi, I have a tree out in the back yard that shades the resting places of several fine cats.

My sincerest condolences, Trey. I've lost quite a few pets over the years; each was special, and left a void when they exited this mortal coil.

My Shih-Tzu Mandie, the little fuzzball, is 10 years old now...I know that it'll be devastating when she is finally called home.

I'm a dog guy, but I think they all have souls and personalities. Condolences, bro.
