Hello.

She says that she is no longer comfortable with it, but she wrote the book on it.

Very few cowboy types will admit to it, but Willie Nelson knows better.

This is almost exactly how I would explain the Republican party to invading martians.

Hello.

Actually I am straight.
I came up with the "gay" after discovering that the very people who I detest absolutely come unglued over the mere mention.
I am also of the opinion that some may indeed be repressed homosexuals.
I love the people who I consider to be my own, the Mexicans.
In the Mexican culture homosexuals are not that big a deal, it happens but so what?
In this American culture violence takes center stage but sex is repressed although that is changing.

Maricónes are a problem with Catholics in this country. Surprised May-he-co isn't the same.

I wouldn't have a problem with Rudy being gay, it's the fact that he's a TEXAN that bothers me. "What's that on your boots, cowboy?"

Hello.

I was born in Germany but do not consider myself German.
My real Father was from Saudi Arabia.
My real Mother was from Spain and a Mexican citizen.
And being from Texas? one of the 50 states of the United States of America.
Texas is not the biggest, that is Alaska, home of Palin, except they do not like her.
But Texas was able to export Bush and give the other 49 states a feel for the Republicans.;)
Prior to the 80s the Democrats ruled Texas, before Texas Democrats got real stupid.
Texas ranchers and oilmen have always been Republicans and in the 70s and 80s gained power after the Arab oil embargo, about the time the Bush family cut a deal with the Saudi royal family, well documented.
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,946253,00.html
I made a name for myself that week.
The Republicans wanted somebody, anybody, to tamper with the electronic voting machines so they could get the bill passed.
I was called in, as I understood how it worked as well as anyone.
But as soon as I understood what was happening I disconnected the lights from the camera and went live, for a full 20 minutes.
Remember that although I understand electronics it does not mean I will do anything, even if it means I will piss of the Texas rangers.
A little known fact is that I was working for Olmos Equipment in 77 when I was charged with assault with the intent to commit murder.
A Texas special ranger tried to surprise me and got behind the bulldozer I was operating and I knocked him down, somehow he was not injured that bad.
I was in a lot of trouble and was offered a way out, "fix" the voting machines and it all goes away.
After that little 20 minute video session everyone understood that I was innocent and my name was cleared.
Olmos equipment is located at 440 Pinn Rd in San Antonio Texas.
I moved to Austin after that, I had to, the incident was just too famous for me in San Antonio, no general contractor wanted to talk to me leave alone have me run equipment.
San Antonio became Republican nearly overnight.
So you see, unless the Democrats win I will still be pretty much screwed, my entire life depends on a major democrat win.

A= advisor to the president, P= POTUS

A) Mr President, we're in quite a pickle on this one, you may have to come clean with the American people, bite the bullet, and perhaps resign.

P) No way! I'm not giving up what I've worked all my life for. Maybe we can get that Rudy fella down in TX to do something...

A) Christ yes! Rudy, excellent suggestion Mr President, it was he that tilted the Democrats out of power in his state by fixing the voting machines. I'll get on it immediately.

Hello.

Read that over again.
http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,946253,00.html
Texas Senate voting machines, nothing to do with any general election.
The way the voting machines worked was very simple, you would type in your code and it would close a relay very much like the old Ademco panels, because it was based on Ademco parts in part.
ACECO produced the system.
http://www.ace-co.com/
The next course of action was to actually cast the vote, nothing but setting flags on a serial line.
This is nothing but an adapted system for fuel control, and the boards were the same as that that the City of San Antonio was using.
It was something very simple and easy to understand by todays standards.
The trick was that the switches were 4PDT, and had to encode a diode matrix.
This ran to an IBM tabulating machine and so was EBCDIC.
So, you set the keycode, that brings up the logic section.
You select what vote you are going to cast.
You execute.
All of this would send a request to send and the terminal ID plus parity.
Once a clear to send was received it would send 3 words, terminal ID plus parity, the vote plus received parity, and a checksum.
Memory was something like 10 bytes and that was provided by a set of JK flip flops.
Speed was something like 110 baud.
