Haha! First thing I thought of but after being chastised for being too sexual and perverted here, I hesitated to say as much.

It's the high bridge over the Genesee river at Letchworth state park. I have no idea who the blond is.

Oh, way cool! Not far from me. I've been to that bridge a long, long time ago. Last time I was there was shortly before I resigned from a really BAD part time engineering gig. I had brought my kids there for the day on a Saturday and my pager went off (as usual!). The pager ended up in the gorge.

Letchworth is a pretty amazing park, and virtually unknown unless you live around there. I learned about it when it was on the cover of an AAA Tour Book back around the turn of the century. "One of these days" I gotta make a camping trip there.

Funny how that expression strikes me nowadays. Must be my age.

Same here, Albi. I think of the turn of the last century!

Apparently I am too. A customer made my day today though. Young girl (24) with two children in tow came in and we were talking about kids. When I said I had a twenty year old she was shocked. She thought I was early 30's, not late 30's.

Now that I"m home & can see the pic....I'm disappointed that it doesn't show the canyon. Oh, yea, that trestle spans what is known as the Grand Canyon of New York State. Been there twice and don't have any pix of my own.

Google "letchworth state park" for images for more.
Okay, if we're doing RR photos, here's one of my favorite rail destinations in San Diego County, Carrizo Gorge:

I rode a stack train over it some 18 years ago. I wasn't expecting that in NY state, and when I saw it it took my breath away.

You mean it isn't all pavement and concrete jungles over populated and full of thugs, pimps and hos?
Even though people see pictures daily on TV of New York, we still think it's all ghettos and gang wars. The gangs in Memphis are worse.

It isn't? Why would I want to go there, then?

Most of upstate is very rural. Two miles east of me is farmland for miles and miles. That's most of NY state. We also border two Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence, the Hudson, we have the largest Forest Preserve (Adirondacks), plus the Catskills and Alleghany mountains. This ain't the city by a long shot.
