I was just informed by an Island member that my avatar is huge and squishing the text to the side of the page. Is this a browser issue or an Island software issue?

Eh, no worse than any others here. I'm running Firefox 3.5.9 on Winders 7.

I think it looks good and does not push any text off the page for me. I'm running XP Home, sp3 and IE8. I do have a 23" wide screen monitor though.. But there are times when someone puts a big picture in the text box that I have to scroll to see it all, and that does affect the entire page.. Here is what I see...

Latest FF and XP.
I know the pics can get huge but my avatar should show up as a standard size. If it is not then I will do something on my end that will override the board software and FF.

That too is what I see. Is the a board setting that users can adjust?

Properties on your avatar sez:
1088px × 932px (scaled to 180px × 154px)
So, your actual file is 1088 x 932 and vB is apparently sizing it via frame dimensions. Maybe someone is using a browser that doesn't handle this properly?
No your homepage is cool there homeslice

It may be that way for some, but I run a 23" wide-screen, so it never happens.
Unless I Ctrl+ the browser zoom too far. Perhaps a Ctrl- or two would help?

This should fix it temporarily until I resize it so that everyone can see it normal size.

I run Chrome on XP Pro , and every once in awhile , your avatar is GIANT . Not often , just enough to keep things interesting .

It's not the SIZE of the avatar...
Actually, yeah. At the work computer, yours and John's (IZE) avatars are gigantic. The system is using a really old version of IE.
I use firefox at home and there is no problem.
