I've found WB2WIK several times on 28.420+/-.
He's a flaming Lib in print,but a good guy on the air.

Werkin' right now...and a site inspection @5:30, so I'll be duskish before I even see a HF radio today.
Kinda a bummer, haven't had much time for anything lately.

Your right about gettin' her done though.

Besides SSB, what modes does it have?

I've got 'em parked on 29.000 (AM) and 29.600 (FM) most times I'm in the shack and 10 is up.

I can do AM or FM , band's open a bit now , heard a PY 'while ago .

My SWR is 3:1 at 29.6 , much lower between 28.00 and 29.00

Correct. Or you can use the rig's internal memory to store the TX frequency and RX on the built-in VFO.
