I wish it got a bit warmer today, but I've got no complaints, really. It was sunny, not snowing, and I was able to go outside with out a jacket :)

Man, it rained like hell all day today. This is about the wettest year I've seen in many, many years. However, yesterday was nice. We had close to 10 inches of sunshine.

The groundhog was a bit premature but see what the March Bunneh brought us?

Now we have 4 straight days of rain in the forecast! I might as well go ahead and pull off all the blades on the mower deck and start sharpening.

I'm serious though. I dread the rain coming in the next week... Grass starts shooting up as soon as that hits.
Does make for gianormous zucchini, though. Last year I was picking 1-2 lbs zuchs every couple of weeks with that rain. And they were growing all through until October.
Lot's of zucchini bread was made last year. Lots.

Please don't mention zucchini bread again.
We formerly loved the stuff, but one of our friends started making it each and every week, then delivering it to us. Now we can barely stand the sight of the stuff.
We give 75% of the bread she drops off here to others. :shifty

"61'ish here in the Mary-lands...."
I told you 'bout the Walrus and Mean Man
I told you 'bout teh Bunneh in 3 Land
Same here, thanks Ren!
It's one o'clock and time for lunch
When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench
I can always hear them talk
There's always been Ethel:
"Jacob, wake up! You've got to tidy your room now."
And then Mr. Lewis:
"Isn't it time that he was out on his own?"
Over the garden wall, two little lovebirds - cuckoo to you!
Keep them mowing blades sharp ...
When the sun beats down and I lie on the bench
I can always hear them talk
Me, I'm just a lawnmower - you can tell me by the way I walk

Green, green, green, it's everywhere!
As soon as it dries a little here, first mowing of the year.
Still snow piles in the corners. Wet and foggy for the last four day's.

Let's see? This is either the 5th or 6th straight day of rain here?
All I can do is watch the rapid greening and growth of the grass. Forecast says I might be able to mow by the middle of next week.
