It's rare that I read the sports pages, but did read the Grand Jury report on this one. Gut reaction is that JoeP was an excellent coach for many decades and his one gaffe was that he didn't prosecute the knowledge he held. No excuses there; Penn State had the right reaction.

He made one horrible, stupid mistake. It has cost him his job, his reputation, and his legacy. And I'm sure that the lawyers he's now in the process of hiring, just to advise him & protect himself (and who can blame him for that?), are telling him to not say a word in public.

Don't be at all surprised if he dies a broken man within 6 months.
