Yeah, there's a decided resemblance, especially in the empennage. The vertical stabilizer is a dead ringer, for sure. The upper rear turret isn't quite right but otherwise, I'd have to say you're right. The plane in the drawing is a high-wing, though, while the Betty is low wing. But it does look like there's the dreaded meatball on the wing, though; I guess it was used as a scare tactic?

Last night I was flying back from San Jose, and I had the pick of just about any seat I wanted. There were more flight crew than passengers! 3 passengers, 5 flight crew. The only reason the flight wasn't cancelled (I was told) is that the plane was due back in Denver regardless.

I've been on semi empty flights before, maybe half full.. but never completely empty. Scheduling mix up? Some other anomaly? Especially on a weekend? Odd.

Wow! I've been saving up my days that I can drink too! Had a drink in March, one in April, one in May and I haven't had one yet in June.
I should clarify that by saying, "drinking sessions." The wages of a wasted yoot. LOL! Cutting back on the coffee really takes the edge off. Last liquor I had was a new brand that makes root beer extract liquor. That stuff will kick your butt but being a lightweight these days really contribute to that too. I also figured it was time to kick my liver into high gear with the Milk Thistle supplements. Back in the day, I'd dry out for a while and take milk thistle. Worked like a charm but these days I want to take it easy and still be able to enjoy an occasional drink when I'm older and crustier.
Boy I tell ya what though, after working 12 to 16 hours inside a 130 degree plastic factory it sure did hit the spot but it started to really kick up my tolerance over time.

Well Sir, my ph# is still the same as witnessed last Year when I informed you of my Extra from an Outback in Gaffney SC at the supposed outlet mall on the highway. All the men who were there with their wives had the same plan and sneaked off for a dink dink. LOL!
