another dumbass question. i ALWAYS HAVE TO click the X to get rid of it at boot up.

Click on the little circled area, go to options... You'll probably want to turn off the same ones I have in the large circle. If your version is different, it will be similar. Just click on the name of the pic I attached.

now it's turned off, do i have to turn it on every time i boot up now? not very user friendly.

If you leave it set to automatically run when you start windows, but NOT sign in automatically when you connect to the Internet, that may work for ya. I don't run it all till I need it.
