I have a Pride Electronics 1000 Frequency counter. I put in tandem with an old CB radio I have. I wanted to make sure it was on-frequency since someone took a golden screwdriver to it.

The problem I am having, is it appears to be about 4 KHz off or so (Every channel). I think the CB is off, but I've also been using this counter for some of my homebrew stuff.

So, I'd like to make sure the counter is accurate as well. If someone has a user-manual, and hopefully a maintenance guide/manual that would be awesome! TIA

Crap. Who would have that, that in order to calibrate a Freq Counter, you need a freq counter... :wall:

Ok, calling around for one now.
