7045 and 3720.

Getting a fair amount of activity on the first at the moment, but my Spanish is a little rusty. Any of you folks who are fluent might want to tune in and see what's up...

What I was hearing was Spanish, and since Cuban amateurs have started to facilitate disaster comms in and around the region...

Castro and Cuba produce doctors faster than chickens can hatch eggs, good way to spread your influence in any region. Yes, most of the doctors working in Haiti are Cuban doctors. Seems logical that the large number of Cuban aid doctors would also have a large number of Cuban amateurs along for comms. There is also a UN contingent in Haiti on a permanent basis, perhaps Spanish speakers also?

So far it's looking really bad down there. The other part of the island is the Dominican Republic, official language Spanish, so some of that radio chatter may be from there?
