I'll probably get something in April. There are lots of WiFi antennas. One big outfit is in Taiwan. I don't have the link with me.

Well that site allows you to make simple but effective wi-fi antennas using common household materials.... you know like ham radio homebrew?

I think I might try some of their antennas for point to point links.

I might just have to try the 6" parabolic. The DSL line,modem and router comes into the radio barn which sits right in the middle of 10 acres. All the stuff in the big house is about 100ft away. I get 10 to 30% sig in the house and it works ok. Would like to pump it up a bit.
A little more focus would be sweet...The privacy issues are pretty much nil here, unless the cows start running laptops.

Anyone knows that you have to clean the Parasitics out of the mixing bowl before you put the cell phone over it. ;)
