Absinthe

Are there any Absinthe drinkers out there ? Over the weekend I drank some of this brand absinthe.

and found it to be quite good. Good enough to make me consider buying a bottle. However, can anyone recommend other brands that are good ?

I tried Marilyn Manson's brand. Had 3 drinks the old fashoined way (poured over a sugar cube into water). I was not impressed with the so-called psy effect. I will stick to mushrooms. :dance: :dance: :dance

edit-I am sorry, I left out the review. The bouquet was similar to things I smelled in the essential oils aisle at a health food store. The flavor was very strong iinspite of the sugar flavor. I sensed it was like a fine single malt scotch that releases the olfactory delights with a wake up splash of water. The first taste was almost like Ouzo, but more subtle. It changed after each taste. I remember wishing that it tasted as good as it smelled.
