I uploaded mine to my Verizon web space, then linked to it. You can do this under "Profile". The link is on the main page here. Select the field marked "Link to off-site Avatar:" and enter the URL! The size limitations do not seem to apply to avatars stored on a remote site.

HAH! That doesn't sound very promising, does it? Did you check the file size and or physical dimension limitations? Nice site too, BTW there Doug and great to meet you too. ;)

I have no idea. I just took it from another site and it was bigger than on the other site. I'm happy just to get an image to upload.

The one I want to use is only 105x66 and it wont work. If I crop it down to 90x66 Im guessing it will work but you can hardly see it now..lol.

You can log into Google and post your picture there and then link to that picture here on the Island.

Well I just cropped it down to fit and you cant really read it but you get the idea. It's just my call and the world trade center, location and such.

I think that all of the larger avatars here are linked to off-site URL's. You can look into that as well.

Doug - email me the larger image (ad4mg -at- verizon -dot- net). I'll upload it to my Verizon space (this is all I use that for), and send you instructions on making it display. It's pretty easy once you have the image located on a remote site. My avater is slightly larger than the one you want to display, so I know it will work!
