How do you approach this site? I need a new approach

My method of viewing the latest posts here isn't working very well. How do you do it?

Upper-right corner of the main screen: View posts since last visit.

Doesn't work for 2 reasons
#1 it only resets when I log out or shut the computer off. What if I leave it on all day?
#2 often when I view some of the new posts I come back to the page that lets me know where to look and I get "you can't do a search again this quick" or I get the page has expired.

Is phpBB a Brit outfit? I saw the word colour somewhere.

1. You have to refresh the forum. Click on the banner in the upper left-hand corner.

2. It's called search flood control. The software permits only so many search queries in a set amount of time. This is user configurable I think.
