This is the only web site I visit (ham radio and wood working are my main interests) that if I hit the browser back button about 50% of the time I get "page expired". It is a pain-if I hit the back button I return to the point where I was before. If I use the go button I am returned to the top of the listings for that section and have to scroll back to where I was before. Why does this function differently than say "Sawmill Creek" which is powered by very similar program?

Dunno. That doesn't happen when I hit the back button. Maybe it's one of the settings in the browser that you're using. I use Safari and Firefox.

Sounds like a problem with how your browser is handling cookies (eg. your settings for allowing cookies only for short term or something)

Ditto. It does the same thing here.
