I had some sake in Japan that they referred dearly to as the "14th Generation" sake. The guys there told me that sake is not normally very tastee, but that this particular sake is good and costs a little bit as well. So anyway I tried this stuff, and it was very good.

I do not consume tobacco products of any sort. Never have. So I have no idea about how a certain drink tastes with a certain beverage.

For a short while in the 70s, sake was a big thing here in the city. Didn't last long. As you said there's not much taste. It used to give me a heck of a headache, but I'm used to Bacardi or Scotch.

I'm active on a beer site where sake is spoken highly of. I've never had it that I can recall. Guess I'll have to try it sometime. Too busy drinking wine to bother though.
