I LOVE AN INDIAN BUFFET.
i love a tandoori mixed grill
but i usually have a portion of chicken & veg pakora to start
then a chicken tikka bhuna with boiled rice nan bread & a chapati. all washed down with cold lager/beer. Glasgow & Scotland in general for some strange reason have probably
more indian food outlets than any other place i know ,in my small town we have at least 10 &
25 in about a 7 miles radius . all trying to be the best !! which is good for the customers as a lot of buisness is word of mouth.
i need to stop now my mouths watering thing about it.

I'm going to have to hop a rail and ride on up there then!
I LOVE good Indian food. And single malt.
Good to know that there is tasty food to be had during my distillery tour trips.

I LOVE AN INDIAN BUFFET.

for some reason indian cuisine isn't as big here (san francisco) as other asian cuisines. you head down the peninsula (toward silicon valley) and the indian food opportunities pick up ...

indian food is one of my favorite reasons to visit the british isles.

Too far south, I'm in Gravesend right now but am moving to Milton Keynes in a month.

Like I said, I need to catch a train and make it a single malt tour while I'm up there.

I like Indian food, but somehow I don't see that many Indian restaurants in NJ, even though there are many Indians living here.

Nevertheless, my wife cooks some excellent curry. She also makes a nice biryani and also tandoori chicken.

sounds lovely ryan. i,ll have to get one this week.had a nice chinese mixed meat curry on friday
has to be an indian this week. my youngest daughter is an amazing cook for a 12 year old .her mums taught her how to make "tablet" & caramel shortcake . i can also come home from work to a cooked meal from her , 3 women in the house has its good points. tablet if you dont know is
made from butter, condensed milk ,sugar & water. it ends up a brittle slab & sweet as honey.
theres a lot of work in it & an amazing technique to getting it an exact end product but worth it. i,m a wee guy as thin as a rake but i can eat for scotland & just love my food . i also talk cr*p a lot on forums. when 20's down i dont have much to do & end up on forums writing nonsence uninteresting gibberish.

I used to frequent the Indian/Pakistani resturants on E 6th Street in Manhattans Lower East Side. Some of the lesser known and lesser frequented resturants were actually the better ones.

Ah, those were great days... Great food, great women and magnifique intoxication.

We've got 2 within walking distance and I plan to try them both soon. The prices are really reasonable too.

All this talk is making me hungry enough to go there. I wonder what time they open up?

Try all the curry houses in your area. Some are mediocre, most satisfactory, a few excellent. It doesn't matter where you live. My XYL is good at Asian dishes, her secret is in the marination.

Our "cook" at work makes the most appalling curry, always on Mondays. It's so bad I may resort to sandwiches.

We have a couple of good ones, not within walking distance, but within a half hour drive...... a good chicken curry for Sunday breakfast would be great right about now.

Found a decent one here in Gravesend with the unfortunate name of Le Spice.

Once I got past the name on the door and ate there I was quite happy!
Huge Desi community here, the locals seem to have a problem with it but I like it.

We have to do lunch one day then.

My favorite Indian restaurant in the city is Surya (bleecker st).

There's one right next to the office called utsav but I've never tried them. Maybe I'll hit them up tomorrow...

Assuming curry is curry. I used to eat currywurst when I lived in Darmstadt, Germany, however, I believe that is an original German dish.
