Not so fast, there is still 14 hours left on the bidding.
Think I'll post this on the ZED and see how long it lasts
I am sure 3SY will want a piece of that action.
I was wondering if it was the SSB version?

The Poles aren't as dumb as you think. That's the only CB that has good sounding audio and it's loud too. Couldn't ask for better and a bargain at any price with all those advantages, can't hook up a power mic, echo box, wolf whistles, roger beeps or linear, can't mod it out for 10M either and you don't even need that unsightly antenna.

Probably takes a lot of practice to get the roger beeps just right.

I bought that thing, no kidding!
I voted for Blagojevich twice.

Ah poo!
I'm too late and missed the picture. Google'd Polish CB radio and came back with Polish erotica, sausage and wheelbarrows.

My wifes' brother and his girlfriend were at her parents house yesterday. To take a little pressure off them, I offered to walk the 10 year old son (of the girlfriend) to the park down the street.
They had just redone the playground and had something similar, except it was a pipe from end to end, that you could yell into one end on the top, and it went to another on the bottom. The kid thought it was pretty cool and talked back and forth with another kid who was playing there through it a few times.
Maybe I'll show him the setup in the car a few more years down the road :)

That reminds me of when my uncle bought an old house built in the early 1800s. I expected the gas jets but not the speaking tubes, a primitive but effective intercom.

I figure maybe next year if they are still together and hes there again, maybe I'll get him some of those "toy" walkie-talkies and see if he takes to them. Course, if he does, I may have to get him some better hardware in the future :dance
