HELP MAKE MY DAY SOMEONE :boohoo:

I've worked Hawaii on 20m, 20m is my band of choice on field day. They ask me what band I want to work and I say 20m. In one field day weekend I worked all eastern coast states, all southern coast states, most of the western coast states, Alaska, Hawaii, Fiji, and Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands, all on a 20m dipole hung about 30 ft in the air and my icom 706 running slighjtly less than 100 watts.

When I upgrade my license you can bet your a** you'll be able to find me on 20m.

He's in Hawaii in his mind...Not that the east coast qualifies...

Anyway, Trying to work the contest last night at the beginning, all I could really hear was KH6 stations on 20 meters. It's all an accident of geography.

Kh7x was super loud here. I didn't even think of checking 10 meters, the band has been dead, dead, dead...

Yeah man, I would have never checked 10 except they said to try them on ten. It took about 10 minutes for the signal path to prove good after our 20 qso but Im in the log. Very cool for a 'compromise' antenna setup over here. Im stoked :D

I worked Hawaii 7 times in the ARRL DX CW!!!

They're EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!

That's on CW though, I don't know your operating preference.

I worked a couple Hawaii stations in the ARRL DX contests (CW and phone). I really didn't concentrate on them though. I just got them for the multipliers then promptly swung back to Europe to continue racking up the QSO count.
