Nat likes the small size, low power consumption and fast OS loading. Yup. The memory is really small compared to today's terabyte computers, but this does what he needs for the road. He has a sub terabyte computer in his room.

As I understand, it comes with some stripped down Linux distro out of the box. Takes some work to make it run XP, but some brave folks have done it. (For $400, you're not going to get a MS license).

Seems like quite the deal, though. I've been tempted for awhile, but I HATE computers.

Nat loves it with the native Linux on it. I don't think he has any plans to change it to XP.
