Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

6 oz. (1 pkg.) frozen crab meat or 1 can drained & flaked
1/2 c. celery
1/2 c. raw rice
2 tbsp. chopped chives
1/4 c. tartar sauce
1 can condensed cream of shrimp soup, undiluted (or cream of mushroom)
12 lg. mushrooms, trimmed
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar
cheese

In a bowl mix crab meat, celery, cooked rice, chives, tartar sauce and soup. Remove stems from mushrooms and chop. Stir chopped mushrooms into crab mixture. Place mushroom caps around outer edge of 10 inch pie plate. Spoon crab mixture evenly into pie plate. Sprinkle top with cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes or until bubbly.

Don't know about the tartar sauce, but some guy told me some stuff called "Blue Ointment" was good for crabs. Is this true?

I am partial to a thick flounder fillet, butterflied, and stuffed with crab meat!

Wrap in aluminum foil with butter, and lemon slices and cooked on the grille.

Geez, I remember that was my weakness at Steak and Ale about 25 years ago..... I wonder if they still have it!
